Handbag is always just adored for women, but she tells us handbag is her life. Maybe many people could not understand her action.
A PENSIONER was found dead in her home by police who were trying to return her stolen handbag.
Officers went to the house after 77-year-old Judith Richardson’s bag was found dumped in a city centre bin 18 miles away.
Detectives believe the bag was stolen when Miss -Richardson was attacked and robbed in her home. It is believed she was bludgeoned around the head.
Miss Richardson, who lived alone in Hexham, Northumberland, was last seen on Friday morning walking her dog.
Her body was found that evening when officers tried to return the bag, found in Newcastle.
Launching a murder -inquiry, DCI Paul Young, of Northumbria Police, said: “Evidence indicates there has been some kind of motive of either robbery or burglary.”
One neighbour said: “She always had a nice word to say about everybody.”
